This week a short update regarding the support of Magento 1. This is being extended! Magento Inc. the company behind the package has announced that the initial End of Life date of 18 November 2018 has been provisionally canceled. It is now indicated that support for Magento 1 will not end in the near future. At the same time, no new date has yet been announced; it is clear in any case that once there is a new date, it will be announced at least 18 months in advance. For now, support for Magento 1 will continue to exist.
